Ami Vale
Grammar School Art Instructor
Bachelor of Fine Arts, University of Arizona
Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, I grew up loving to draw, read and spend time with friends. I knew that I wanted to be an artist from an early age, so I went to the University of Arizona to pursue a degree in graphic design & illustration. During college I surrendered my life to Jesus. I’m so grateful for that time in my life, and the purpose that God gave me as an artist and in helping to build His church!
After meeting my husband and getting married, we moved to Mesa, AZ with our two young daughters to help start Hope Church Movement, a church focused on reaching college students with the gospel. We have been a key part of that church for the last 20 years. During our children’s elementary school years, we homeschooled using a classical curriculum and saw how much our girls enjoyed learning the Bible, history and writing.
For the past 10 years, I’ve taught art classes in my home to students ages K-12, and then more recently with Mesa Public Schools. I’m truly excited to be a part of Caritas and getting to share my art skills with your children, and I look forward to learning from them as well!
